LaMelo Ball jumps back up to No. 1 and the Warriors trade for Jrue Holiday in our latest NBA Mock Draft

Days away from the 2020 NBA Draft, there’s still no consensus No. 1 overall pick and there’s a good chance that we end up seeing a flurry of trades on draft night. Several teams are reportedly looking to jump up into the lottery and there are several veterans on the trade block.

Now that it’s draft week, we will explore what will be our final full first-round mock draft. As we have begun numerous times over the last couple of months, we begin with a big decision from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Minnesota Timberwolves – LaMelo Ball, G, llawarra Hawks

When it comes time for the Minnesota Timberwolves to make a selection in the 2020 NBA Draft, I have a hard time believing that they’re not going to take LaMelo Ball. I’d have to think that they’ve flirted with many prospects but will ultimately go with the player that sits atop their board.

I simply believe that will be LaMelo Ball. As arguably the most talented all-around player, the Wolves would worry about Ball’s fit next to D’Angelo Russell later and bank on talent to win-out as they continue to build this roster.
