10. Phoenix Suns – Killian Hayes, G, Ratiopharm Ulm
The Phoenix Suns have needed a point guard ever since they decided to trade away a trio of theirs (Isaiah Thomas, Goran Dragic, and Eric Bledsoe), and this draft sets up perfectly to potentially land one. Killian Hayes is a player that could be drafted anywhere from inside the top 5 to out of the top 10.
He’s talented and is still growing into the player that he can be. His shooting and playmaking have made strides over the last couple of seasons and that will only continue to be the case. If he can continue to develop on both ends of the floor, he could end up being the lead-guard that Devin Booker needs beside him.
Even if the Suns wanted to make the move for Chris Paul, he’d be a great model for Hayes to build his game around and to learn from. The Suns are on the come up and will be a factor in the Western Conference in 2020-21.
