12. Sacramento Kings – Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt
With great size (6-foot-6), Aaron Nesmith not only offers a great shooting stroke but also offers potential flexibility. Nesmith might be the best shooting in his draft and is coming off a year in which he averaged 23 points and five rebounds on 51 percent shooting from the field and 52 percent shooting from 3-point range.
If Nesmith could even be 80-90 percent of the shooter that he was during his sophomore season at Vanderbilt, there’s no question that the Kings would be getting a solid shooter. If nothing else, the Kings would add more shooting and have some insurance if the team moves Harrison Barnes and/or Buddy Hield.
There are still many questions that surround this organization heading into the 2020-21 season but making a smart pick at No. 12 would be a good start to the offseason.
