NBA Mock Draft: LaMelo Ball jumps back up to No. 1; Warriors make a big trade

16. Portland Trail Blazers – Saddiq Bey, F, Villanova

The Portland Trail Blazers could use another rotation player in the frontcourt, but without a slam-dunk prospect available at this point they could target a potential 3-and-D rotation player that would help Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum next season.

Saddiq Bey fits the role and would be a solid addition to a team that made a run to the Western Conference Finals a couple of years ago. Bey averaged 16 points and five rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field and 45 percent shooting from 3-point range during his sophomore season at Villanova.

The hope is that Bey would immediately give the Blazers some added shooting at the wing position and potentially provide the Blazers with another body that could defend the wing at a solid level.
