2. New Orleans Pelicans – James Wiseman, C, Memphis

The Golden State Warriors will trade the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and Andrew Wiggins to the New Orleans Pelicans for Jrue Holiday, Jaxson Hayes, and the No. 13 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

The Pelicans would have to give up a talented big man in Hayes but would be able to jump up to No. 2 to select James Wiseman. Wiseman is the most complete big man in this draft and is arguably the best prospect in this draft class. He was incredibly impressive during the few games that he played in college and will help complete one of the most talented frontcourts in the Western Conference with Zion Williamson.

Stan Van Gundy will get another talented young player and the Pelicans’ future will get even brighter heading into the 2020-21 season. The Warriors would also come away with big winners from this trade (more on them later, however).
