21. Philadelphia 76ers – Desmond Bane, G, TCU
It’s difficult to predict what the Philadelphia 76ers will do with the No. 21 draft pick, but there are a few needs on this roster. And perhaps the biggest is this team’s lack of shooters. One potential prospect that they could target is Desmond Bane, who many believe might be the best shooter in this draft class.
Bane was a four-year player at TCU and that’s probably the biggest reason why he isn’t given more attention. Bane averaged 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists per game on 45 percent shooting from the field and 44 percent shooting from 3-point range during his senior season at TCU.
He could be added relatively seamlessly to this Sixers team, play off Ben Simmons, or whichever point guard the Sixers decide to start and be a true contributor. He’s mature, has great size, and is ready to be an NBA contributor.
