23. Utah Jazz – Malachi Flynn, G, San Diego State
After quite the showing in the first round of the NBA playoffs against the Denver Nuggets, it’ll be interesting to see how the Utah Jazz approach the offseason. Adding some depth to their backcourt is one option. With Malachi Flynn on the board, he could be a target for the Jazz.
He’s risen up draft boards over the last few weeks and represents a player that could be ready to contribute as a rotation player. It’s not known what type of top-ceiling potential he possesses, but he’s a player that will be taken in the first round.
Flynn averaged 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists on 44 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. Flynn could be a spark off the bench for a Jazz team that, at times, lacks scoring.
