28. Los Angeles Lakers – Tyrell Terry, G, Stanford
There’s a chance that we could see every different Los Angeles Lakers roster next season and we could see a lot of turnover specifically in the backcourt. It would be surprising if the Lakers didn’t draft a guard, especially with how deep the position is in this year’s draft class.
One potential fit at this point in the draft is Tyrell Terry, a 6-foot-1 guard out of Stanford. During his freshman season, Terry averaged 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game on 41 percent shooting from 3-point range.
Terry likely wouldn’t have to carry much of the weight during his rookie season and could play in a small role. He’s a good shooter and would be a fit next to LeBron James. Many teams have fallen in love with Terry and he’d be a steal for the Lakers to snag him with the No. 28 pick.
