9. Washington Wizards – Onyeka Okongwu, F, USC

In a somewhat surprising fashion, the Washington Wizards find arguably the second-best big in this draft class fall to them at No. 9. Many have been quick to compare Onyeka Okongwu to Bam Adebayo and if the Wizards are getting a player that can have as much impact as he had in the NBA playoffs this past season, it’d be a huge addition.

The Wizards need all the talent they could get at this point, whether they believe it will play a huge role for them this season or not. Drafting a player as versatile as Okongwu would give this team many options.

For a team that hopes to find themselves in a playoff race in the Eastern Conference, with the return of John Wall, Okongwu and last year’s first-round draft pick Rui Hachimura could end up playing big roles for Washington this season.
