Rebounding and playmaking

Now he’s not the greatest passer in the world, Bane only averaged 2.4 assists per game for his career for the Horned Frogs. I’m not sure he’s someone you’d want to be the primary playmaker or creator of your offense. But he can make some plays and passes when needed, showcasing flashes to create for others. Bane should be best suited as a secondary playmaker and ballhandler for an offense, making plays within the system or flow of the game.

But like with his defense, Bane’s Pitbull like stature and demeanor bleeds into his ability to rebound the ball. Once again, even though he has shorter arms and supposed underwhelming athleticism, it doesn’t take way from his effectiveness as a rebounder.

He averaged 6.3 boards per game last season and knows how to utilize his frame to box out bigger forwards or centers. Bane’s motor and effort are a constant, showing up frequently when he’s defending or fighting for rebounds.
