Prediction: Two-years, $24 million with the Brooklyn Nets

OK, now I didn’t just make this pick because Kevin Durant is trying to recruit him, although that is part of the reason. Serge Ibaka’s an NBA champion and one of the best shot blockers of our generation and heading into his age-31 season, he’s going to look for comfort over anything else.

He and KD have a solid history together, and a reduced role with decent money to pair alongside DeAndre Jordan off the bench could be ideal to put together a real winner in Brooklyn.

Also, playing for Steve Nash is not too bad either, a factor which I truly think will tempt some veterans to look at the Nets. I’m not sure how the Nets would make this work financially, and it would likely have to be some sort of sign-and-trade, but this is a deal that will get done.
