Next up on the player option list, we have the Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward. Heading into his age-31 season, the sharpshooting wing has gone through a lot of adversity during his tenure with the Celtics. In fact, his tenure with the Celtics started with a devastating leg injury a few minutes into his first game with the team.

Capped off by a decent run in the bubble this year, however, Hayward is a key piece to the Celtics’ squad and will definitely accept his option.

Rumors have circulated about Hayward potentially getting dealt as the Celtics look to move up in the draft. Even if they will want to move on from Hayward or not, he will definitely opt-in and not pass up on the money he’s owed for next year.
