Montrezl Harrell, unrestricted

Prediction: four-years, $92 million with the Chicago Bulls

As the league’s reigning Sixth Man of the Year, Montrezl Harrell has become one of the most feared faces in the paint. Putting together a tremendous season of 18.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game coming off the bench for the LA Clippers, Harrell is going to be set to have a big payday this offseason.

There should be several intense suitors for the young big man, which includes some rebuilding teams like the Hornets and Wizards as well as the Clippers to try to retain him. But I think the Bulls could afford to give Harrell top dollar to come off the bench and aid the second unit in Chicago behind youngsters Wendell Carter and Lauri Markkanen.

What the Bulls thought they could get from Cristiano Felicio a couple of offseason’s ago when he was signed to a big extension, they can actually get out of Trez. I don’t think the Bulls can miss this opportunity.
