Five predictions heading into 2020 NBA Draft night

The 2020 NBA Draft has arrived with an array of storylines that await to be answered. For the past few weeks, there have been conversations centered around who’s going No. 1 overall, who’s being traded for picks, and who’s trying to move down.

The roadblocks to get there will be no more as we zero-in on tonight. Here are five NBA Draft predictions that are most likely to happen Wednesday night.

NBA Draft Day prediction: A playoff team trades into the top 10

The rumblings of Boston and Dallas attempting to trade up in this year’s draft for a potential game-changing talent seems very real. The Boston Celtics have been looking for some sort of activity at the five spot the last few years.

Dallas is convinced that their postseason window is now due to the MVP play of Luka Doncic last season. Albeit these two teams are the mains ones getting traction for being trade partners, other playoff teams could cut potential partners within the draft that can make moves upward in the 2020 selection process.
