NBA Draft Day prediction: Onyeka Okongwu will be a top-five pick

Onyeka Okongwu stock has risen due in large part because his gameplay is likened to rising NBA star Bam Adebayo. Like Bam, he’s a bit undersized to be a traditional four or five but does a multitude of things well to compensate for being a tweener.

He’s athletic and versatile on the defensive end. Offensively he can score very well with his back to the basket but presents a 10-15-foot jump shot game that Bam still is developing to this day. With the Bulls and Cavs rounding out the top 5, one of the two teams will pull the trigger on him to help formulate a young and athletic frontcourt.

With his skill-set and versatility in the small-ball NBA, Okongwu has a chance to be a potential Rookie of the Year Candidate.
