7. Detroit Pistons, Killian Hayes

Grade: A+

Maybe I have a lead guard fetish or something because the Kings are also getting a good grade, but a few draft experts had Killian Hayes in their top-three for draft prospects. If he reaches his ceiling, the Pistons have their point guard of the future to grow next to…well, nothing at the moment, but this will be the first piece of the puzzle.

He and Sekou Doumbouya have a French connection, I’m not just saying that because they’re both French, they have an actual relationship, see, one YouTube video.

Evan Fournier will be a free agent next season and maybe the Pistons will be Little France for the NBA. Maybe not, but I’m liking the direction of the franchise, nevertheless.
