Harry Giles

Harry Giles was signed in free agency after agreeing to a one-year deal with the Blazers. Giles should help with depth in the frontcourt as the Blazers found it difficult to find consistency with Jusef Nurkic and Zach Collins missing significant time due to injuries.

Giles utilizes his 7-foot-3 wingspan well, has active hands, and can actively defend the pick and roll. Giles can also protect the paint with his length and has enough agility and speed to defend in space while guarding smaller and quicker players.

Offensively, Giles can score in the post, step out and shoot the mid-range jumper and is an above-average passer for a big man. The Blazers should be able to depend on Giles to compete and play hard every game as he still has a lot to prove on a one-year contract.
