Justin Holiday re-signing with Indiana

Heading into the offseason, one of the highest priorities for the Indiana Pacers was to re-sign Justin Holiday. Luckily for Pacers fans, they did just that. Holiday is coming off a season in which he shot a career-high 41 percent from 3-point range, a skill that many other teams could’ve used.

Holiday was a coveted target on the free-agent markets for teams looking for a bench wing. Holiday provides 3 point shooting and the ability to guard multiple positions on the perimeter. Those two skills are highly coveted in the NBA and the Pacers scored in a big way by bringing him back on a very team-friendly deal of $18 million over three years.

Holiday will be a key cog for the Pacers’ bench and will keep this team’s flexibility in place; he also adds depth in the event of injury – as we’ve seen over the last couple of seasons with Victor Oladipo’s health issues.
