Five free agents that will make a big impact on their new teams in 2021

This year’s NBA free agency period has been loaded with player movement. Exorbitant amounts of money have been committed to players, with over 40 of them landing on new teams.

Many free agents opted to stay put: Brandon Ingram, Fred VanVleet, Joe Harris, Goran Dragic, and, presumably, Anthony Davis, won’t be going anywhere.

The Atlanta Hawks swung for the fences, acquiring Danilo Gallinari, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Rajon Rondo. They clearly intend to be an offensive powerhouse in the East.

LA Clippers center Montrezl Harrell shockingly moved to the other side of the Staples Center, joining the rival Los Angeles Lakers.

Big men in general were on the move: nine-year Cavalier Tristan Thompson joined the Boston Celtics, Aron Baynes signed with the Toronto Raptors, and DeMarcus Cousins teamed up with James Harden in Houston.

Amidst all these signings, these five players are primed to be positive contributors to their new teams.
