LeBron James, Los Angeles

The fact that LeBron James made this list shows just how absurd expectations are for him.  What more can a man with four NBA championships, four finals MVP’s and four regular-season MVP’s possibly have left to prove?

For as long as I can remember, it’s been championship or bust for King James and this upcoming season is no different.  The consensus seems to be that the Los Angeles Lakers won the offseason, picking up pieces such as Dennis Schroder (from the Thunder) Marc Gasol (from the Raptors), and Montrezl Harrell (from the Clippers), this after dominating the playoffs in the bubble and winning the championship, only dropping five games along the way.

LeBron, by his own admission, is “chasing a ghost,” more specifically, Michael Jordan’s ghost, so at least in terms of championships, he has more work to do.
