Predicting how the NBA’s Northwest Division will play out in 2020-21

The NBA’s Northwest Division consistently has been one of the more competitive divisions in the league. This was showcased last year as four of the division teams made the playoffs, including the division-winning Denver Nuggets who advanced to Western Conference Finals.

One could argue this division might have some of the best overall teams of any division in the NBA – although now the Pacific Division might have something to say about that statement.

There certainly will be no drop off in competition for this upcoming season as three of the teams (Denver, Utah, Portland) have serious title-run ambitions, while the other two (Oklahoma City, Minnesota) have enough firepower to reach the postseason.

Here’s how I project each team in the division will perform in the upcoming 2020-21 season.
