Philadelphia 76ers

We tend to look at people’s weaknesses and their failures instead of their strengths. Doc Rivers has become the perfect example of this, after the Clippers loss to the Nuggets. He took the blame for LA’s collapse.

Rivers often doesn’t get the credit he deserves for winning a championship in Boston. Nevertheless, winning is hard and Doc has done it almost in every place he’s coached.

Rivers in his first season with the Celtics won, and he changed the culture in L.A. which is called a Lakers town. Under Rivers, the Clippers became a playoff team every year but once, with two superstars or with none. He has been known around the league as a great communicator and teacher. The 76ers didn’t hesitate to get him when he was free. They also hired Daryl Morey after he was let go from Houston.

Many people think that Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid should be broken up, but they played better together a few years ago when the shooters I named were on the team. I am sure they are not done in adding shooters, but they have had one of the best offseasons for the organization in a long time.
