The big news coming out of Sacramento is the departure of Bogdan Bogdanovic, but they decided to commit to De’Aaron Fox when they gave him a five-year extension worth $163 million. It looks like going forward their starting backcourt will be Fox and Buddy Hield.

Bringing back Hassan Whiteside, who was drafted by the Kings in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft, was a solid move and it makes them tougher down low. The big question will be can Marvin Bagley III stay healthy?

He missed 59 games last season and 20 games in his rookie season. He is supposed to be one of the cornerstones for the Kings, but with another serious injury, the Kings might have to look for a power forward in the 2021 draft.
