San Antonio Spurs

The most professional and consistent team in the NBA finally looked like a regular NBA team last year, they lost. Losing and the San Antonio Spurs are an oxymoron. Last season was the first time the Spurs didn’t qualify for the playoffs since the 1996-97 season.

You know what you’re going to get from the vets; Rudy Gay is solid, DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge won’t miss open shots in the mid-range. Is this the year Dejounte Murray has a break out year?

The Spurs also drafted Devin Vassell, a do-it-all player from Florida State. Vassell should see playing time right away, due to the departure of Marco Belinelli and Bryan Forbes. If the Spurs players play to their potential, they should be back in the playoffs next year.
