Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks, for the most part, were quiet this offseason, but that is understandable. They want to make a run at Giannis Antetokounmpo next summer. Seth Curry is the only rotational player they lost but might start the season slowly due to Kristaps Porzingis who won’t be with the team to start the season due to the knee surgery he had in the offseason.

The Mavs were able to get Josh Richardson (in a trade that involved Curry with the Philadelphia 76ers) and re-sign Trey Burke who found new life with Dallas in the NBA’s restart bubble last season.

Luka Doncic continues to improve every season and as long as this happens the Mavericks will be a playoff team. Health permitting, the Mavs will be a problem in the Western Conference once again this season.
