NBA Trade Rumors: 4 dark horse landing spots for James Harden

The Houston Rockets, less than a week after trading Russell Westbrook for John Wall and a first-round pick, are now in a face-off with James Harden. It’s been reported that Harden wants to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets and it looks like he’s trying to do what he can to make that wish a reality.

James Harden has not reported to training camp and there’s no timetable on when he’ll do so according to new head coach Stephen Silas. There’s a chance that this gets worse before it gets better for Houston and that could open the door for a trade to take place sooner rather than later.

One potential game-changer for both the Rockets and Harden is if Giannis Antetokounmpo signs his super-max extension, it could open the door for other teams to join the potential bidding way for Harden.

If that ends up reigning true, we explore four dark horse landing spots – or four teams not named Brooklyn – that could enter the James Harden sweepstakes if he’s shopped openly over the next couple of weeks.
