NBA Trade Rumors: Ranking the best possible James Harden trade packages
3. Brooklyn Nets
When the James Harden drama first began, it was reported that he wanted to be moved to the Brooklyn Nets. The ultimate goal for Harden was to win an NBA championship and there might not be a better landing spot than joining a team that has Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving already in the fold.
The problem with that is that while the Nets have some nice pieces on their roster, none of them would be considered good enough to be a centerpiece of a blockbuster deal. LeVert and Dinwiddie have both flashed as good players, but I don’t think any one of them would be mistaken for a future all-star.
The Nets could throw in Jarrett Allen and Landry Shamet, which would make the offer respectable, along with two first-round picks. Though, depending on other offers, I still believe the Rockets could get something better from a couple of other teams that could be intrigued by James Harden.
