Predicting the NBA’s top-scoring duos of 2020-21
For the past few years, SCIC has allowed me to publish scoring predictions for the best NBA duos. Unfortunately, like every year, I have to begin with the caveat that injuries have eliminated at least one awesome duo.
Some “second bananas” like Andrew Wiggins, Bojan Bogdanovic, Tyler Herro, or Goran Dragic likely just won’t put up the requisite numbers of quality secondary options to be included on this list.
Honorable Mention: Luka and whoever’s got the hot hand
Last season, Kristaps Porzingis proved to be an adequate, but not a stellar second option, and he’ll also be riding the bench at least the first few weeks of this season.
Tim Hardaway Jr. will find it difficult to top his career year last season. For this team to have a great regular season, Luka’s going to have to not just replicate, but add to what he did last season.
