West Runners up

Los Angeles Lakers

Anthony Davis: 24 points per game

LeBron James: 24 points per game

I really wanted to say 25 for Anthony Davis and 23 for LeBron James, but I’m following my own rules and not hedging. With such a short offseason, I expect both players to take extended time off, and be on cruise control. Their percentages will likely remain the same as in previous years, but with fewer free throws, and other “easy” points.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Karl-Anthony Towns: 28 points per game

D’Angelo Russell: 20 points per game

Probably the most successful “duo” in the league, Karl-Anthony Towns, and D’Angelo Russell will still complement each other wonderfully, in lethal pick and rolls, and isolation plays. If their defense came even close to matching their offensive talents, this might be a dark horse contender, but we live in the real world.
