Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers get a spot on this list for an interesting reason. Not because they were going to be in the Giannis Antetokounmpo running by any means, but because it could open up the trade market for a couple of their players that have found their names in the rumor mill in the past.

By Giannis’ signing, it could open the door for a potential Myles Turner or Victor Oladipo, who is slated to be a free agent himself after the 2020-21 NBA season. There’s no guarantee that Oladipo will re-sign with the Pacers and there have already been whispers that he could have his sights set on leaving town as soon as he gets an opportunity to.

With both Giannis and Paul George signing extensions this offseason, it could help the rest of the league get a jumpstart to the 2021 offseason. Players on expiring contracts, such as Oladipo, could find themselves back in the spotlight.
