Christmas wishlist: A clean bill of health for Kemba Walker

Coming off a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, you can’t help but wonder how their playoff run truly would’ve ended had Kemba Walker been 100 percent healthy. He was limited in the NBA’s restart bubble, whether the Boston Celtics will admit it or not, and didn’t look like his normal self throughout the team’s postseason run.

With the talent that this team has on the roster, the Celtics should be viewed as a contender in the East. Though, a lot of that will depend on the health of Kemba. Even when he is healthy, Kemba is often viewed as a weakness in the team’s starting lineup. Even more so when he isn’t 100 percent healthy.

If the Celtics are going to finish in the top 3 of the East during the regular season and then make a deep run in the playoffs once again, they’re going to need a clean bill of health from their all-star-caliber point guard.
