NBA MVP candidate: LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers

Many would agree that LeBron James was robbed of the MVP award last season but we all know that he will be right in the mix once again when it comes time to vote for as winner. James is preparing to play in his 18th season and the level of consistency he has displayed throughout the years have been amazing and there is no reason to believe he won’t continue that trend.

Can we expect LeBron to lead the league in assists again? I wouldn’t doubt it as his high assists totals demonstrates his value to the Lakers as he also averaged right at 25 points per game.  Chances are King James will win a fifth MVP trophy adding on to his legacy as he plays with a chip on his shoulder after being snubbed last season.

Any team that James has played for automatically gives them a chance to compete for a championship  due to his presence as he makes playing easier for his teammates as he makes life difficult for the competition.
