What more could you ask for than a matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day? LeBron James and Luka Doncic will be the headliners for this game, but there will be so many more underlining storylines that will need to be addressed.

For one, both of these teams into this game 0-1 after dropping their opening night games of the season. Will the Mavs look like a much better team than they did in game 1 against the Phoenix Suns? Will the Lakers after getting off to a slow start?

It’ll be interesting how both of these teams approach this star-studded game, which could be a preview of a potential playoff series. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Luka Doncic; sure what more could you ask for from the Christmas day game?
