Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls

After another rough start to the season, the Chicago Bulls are a team that could pull the trigger on a big deal at any given moment. This is a team that doesn’t have a general direction and one that just hired new management. Could they want their own players to build around? And if so, does that mean Zach LaVine could be moved?

LaVine is an expiring contract after next season and there’s no guarantee that he’s going to want to re-sign if this team isn’t making any strides to improve. After a 4-6 start through their first 10 games of the season, I’m not sure that’s something that could be viewed as a certainty.

Individually, LaVine is on pace for the best season of his career to date, averaging 26 points, five rebounds, and four assists on 48 percent shooting from the field. What will happen first, will the Bulls take a stride as a franchise or will LaVine grow tired of the losing and perhaps find his way to the trade block? Your guess is as good as mine.
