5 free agent targets for the Brooklyn Nets to add to their depth

The Brooklyn Nets should have no trouble rounding this championship roster out. Veterans who’ve reached the ring chasing stage of their careers and even a few young players could come in and help this squad. We’ve seen small additions like Joakim Noah last season, and Nic Batum this year, both come in and be useful pieces for the LA Clippers.

The Nets are talented, but they’re relatively thin on the back end. Beyond Jeff Green, there aren’t many proven players on their bench. Landry Shamet has been solid, and they’re getting the best out of Bruce Brown and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, but they could definitely shore up this second team.

They won’t need much, but a few players could come in and contribute immediately. Players like Isaiah Thomas and Dion Waiters would help too, but these five fit the bill a little more. Glue players, veterans, the type of plug and play players that help teams win championships.

Here are a few players who could do the same for Brooklyn.
