What is wrong with the Denver Nuggets?

After making a run to the Western Conference Finals in the NBA’s restart bubble, many were hoping that the Denver Nuggets would pick up where they left off this season. However, that hasn’t exactly happened roughly through the first month of the season.

The Nuggets are essentially a .500 team and while their offense continues to be one of the best in the league, their defense has suffered this season and are a bottom 6 team on that end of the floor. Nikola Jokic continues to be a terror but Jamal Murray hasn’t been the same player as he was in the restart bubble.

Perhaps the Nuggets can knock off their rust and get back to the team they were in the restart bubble over the course of the next few weeks, but perhaps the loss of Jerami Grant is hurting this team more than they thought it would.
