NBA Trade Rumors: 5 teams that should target J.J. Redick

The Milwaukee Bucks are another team that should undoubtedly pursue J.J. Redick if he is indeed on the trade block. I’m not sure what the Pelicans would be asking for in exchange for Redick, but if there’s anything we learned about the Bucks during the offseason it’s that they’re willing to go all-in on improving the roster.

Even after Giannis Antetokounmpo has signed his supermax extension, this is not the time for the Bucks to get comfortable with their roster. Even though they have been relatively good this season, there’s no question that the Bucks have left a bit to be desired during the regular season.

They’re not the powerhouse they ran through the Eastern Conference in the regular season last year and should add a piece ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline. Redick is a player that the Bucks should absolutely pursue. He gives them experience in the backcourt and a player that could play off Jrue holiday and Giannis.

He doesn’t need the ball in his hands to be effective and is historically one of the best spot-up shooters in the game. Redick next to Giannis and Khris Middleton would almost be a cheat code for the Bucks during the playoffs.
