Brooklyn Nets
It would be no surprise for the Brooklyn Nets to be another team to pursue J.J. Redick if he is indeed being shopped by the Pelicans. After unleashing almost their entire asset chest in the pursuit of James Harden, the Nets should be targeting any available rotation player that they could find on the open market.
Again, it could get difficult if the Pelicans asking price is a bit steep. And I’m not sure if the Nets can get into a bidding war with any team at this point. That said, Reddick would be an absolute weapon for this team on the offensive end should Brooklyn be able to get a deal done.
As is, this Nets’ offense is going to be unstoppable when they fully hit their stride. However, throw in a J.J. Redick and his prolific shooting in the mix, and I’m not sure how you guard this Brooklyn Nets team in the playoffs.
It’s unlikely that any team will have the ability to guard Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Harden on any given night. Having to guard those three dynamic offensive players and J.J. Redick? No shot.
