NBA Trade Rumors: 5 teams that should target Lonzo Ball

Oklahoma City Thunder
OKC is in the first year of their rebuild, after trading most of their talent over the offseason. This saw Chris Paul go to the Suns, Adams to the Pelicans, and more players leave the team as they stocked up on draft picks and youthful talent.
However, trading a pick later down the track to acquire Lonzo would not be the worst idea, as currently, the Thunder’s best point guard is George Hill. While obviously still a good player, Hill does not fit in with OKC’s timeline and has been rumored to be traded for some time.
Ball is only 23 years old and is averaging decent all-around numbers for his career (10.8 PPG, 6 RPG, and 6.5 APG). With the right fit, Ball could see those numbers go up and solidify himself as a consistent triple-double threat.
The young guard would have a chance to shine on the Thunder, and help lead the team’s youth movement as the starting point guard. The Thunder could also trade some of their expiring veteran players to acquire Ball, and playing him alongside the likes of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Darius Bazley, and Luguentz Dort helps create a team that could become a problem in the future as they develop together.
