3 January takeaways and 3 February predictions for the 2020-21 NBA season
The 2021 NBA season may not be as strange as the 2020 one, but it’s certainly not normal. Some teams bring a lot of energy every night, some still look like they’re sleepwalking, and others look like no one told them that the season was actually starting.
The results have shown a similar trend. Some games have been great, others unwatchable from the second the ball is tipped. Maybe it’s a result of having no (or limited) fans in the stands, but after enduring last year’s four-month break from the action, I think we can all agree it’s just good to have games on, no matter what form that takes.
It feels like the season just started, but we’re already a quarter of the way through and the shortened season should provide some increased sense of urgency as we head into the coming months. But before we take a look into what’s around the corner, let’s take note of some of the developing stories of the season so far, starting with the big guy in Philly.
