NBA surprising stat, No. 2: Nikola Jokic being top 10 in points, rebounds, assists, and steals this season

Statistically, Nikola Jokic is having the best season of any player in the NBA. He’s #1 in many less coveted statistical categories such as plus/minus and player efficiency rating.

Additionally, he’s top 10 in the four most popular categories as well. He’s 10th in points (26.8), 6th in rebounds (11.8), 6th in assists (8.6), and 5th in steals (1.8).

He’s the only player in the league to be in the top 10 in each of those categories. He truly does everything. Numbers like those remind me of Hakeem Olajuwon, the former Houston Rocket who is the only player to have a quadruple-double. I think Jokic can be a guy that has a few games like that, maybe not with blocks but steals instead. The guy is unbelievable.
