8. Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics have been one of the most up-and-down teams in the Eastern Conference this year, and they’re only 4-6 in their last 10 games. While the Celtics have the top-tier talent to compete with some of the other contenders in the league, I still have my question about this team.

Boston will still finish as a top 4 team in the East and will be a handful come playoff time. I’m not sure if this team can win a championship this season, though.

7. Denver Nuggets

After somewhat of a shaky start to the season, the Denver Nuggets appear to be getting back on track and finding a rhythm as a team. Over the last 10 games, the Nuggets are 7-3 and Nikola Jokic is playing like an NBA MVP front runner.

He’s been outstanding for the team and has easily been the first or second-best big man in the NBA this season. Jokic and Embiid will be battling for the NBA MVP for the rest of the season and it has the opportunity to be a historically close race.
