26. Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic are doing enough to stick around mediocrity in the Eastern Conference and are a couple of games back of the eighth and final playoff spot. They are what they are and are the perfect example of mediocrity in the NBA.

They may or may not be a playoff team and may or may not factor in at all once they get there. This team desperately needs to make a big trade sooner rather than later.

25. New York Knicks

The New York Knicks were somewhat of a feel-good story a couple of weeks ago, but they’ve really struggled as of late. And I’m not sure it was fair to expect them to be a real playoff threat in the Eastern Conference.

That said, if this thing gets hot and perhaps makes a move at the NBA Trade Deadline, don’t be surprised if New York has just enough to make a play-in game.
