Big-name NBA trade candidates: Blake Griffin
Blake Griffin hasn’t been himself for the last couple of seasons, and it’s quite unfortunate to see. Although, don’t be surprised if we see a few teams think about trying to make a big splash for Blake Griffin at the trade deadline. At the very least, ask what Detroit would want in a potential deal.
He’s not the athletic freak that he once was, but he still has the veteran experience and talents to be a valuable rotation player either in the starting lineup or off the bench for a contender. I’m not sure if the contending teams are going to be willing to pay the price that it would take to take to add Blake Griffin, but it certainly should be a conversation for any team looking for help in the frontcourt.
Even more so if the Pistons make it known that they’re open to trading him at the deadline.
