Dallas Mavericks: Ranking the 10 best potential third options for the Mavs
Dallas Mavericks target, No. 9: T.J. Warren, Indiana Pacers
Coming out of North Carolina State, there was one thing T.J. Warren could do and that is score. He came into the NBA as an old school scorer, a deadly mid-range shooter that took very few 3’s. Over the last couple of seasons, he’s added a 3-point shot, giving him the ability to score from all over the floor.
His break-out stretch came in the bubble games last season before the playoffs where he averaged 31 points per game on 58 percent shooting from the field and 52 percent shooting from 3-point range. He proved he had improved as a scorer and is a legitimate threat in the NBA to put the ball in the basket.
On Dallas, Luka would get him wide-open shots from the mid-range and the 3-point line. You can also put the ball in his hands, and he can score 1-on-1 as well as in the post. He would probably be the third option for the Mavs, but with the style they play, he could still average 20 points per contest.
