Dallas Mavericks target, No. 8: Michael Porter Jr., Denver Nuggets

It seems like a no-brainer that the Denver Nuggets will keep Michael Porter Jr., but predicting NBA free agency can be tricky. No one could have foreseen Jerami Grant leaving the Nuggets for Detroit for the opportunity to have a bigger role in the offense.

As long as Porter stays in Denver the offense will run through Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. He will be the third option on Denver, but in Dallas, he’d probably be the second and Porzingis would be the third.

Michael Porter Jr. hasn’t reached his potential yet, but with an increased role it would be interesting to see what he could do. As dynamic of a scorer that he can be, it’d be great to see him next to a player as versatile as Luka as well.
