NBA Trade Rumors: 5 teams that should target Andre Drummond at the NBA Trade Deadline.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers are planning on sitting Andre Drummond until the big man is traded. This is to reportedly pave the way for Jarrett Allen to become the starting big man for the Cavs, as the team is high on his potential.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are heading in a new direction, and after many rumors, Drummond is officially being shopped.
It seems that the Cavs are trying to do right by Drummond, as the team now looks to trade the former All-Star to a team where he can provide some valuable minutes and continue to dominate, as opposed to losing minutes to Jarrett Allen.
While a buyout has not been reportedly discussed yet, that could also be an option if the team struggles to trade the big man. Although he is not at an All-Star level still, Drummond can still provide solid rebounding, dominate the paint, and effectively protect the rim.
There are multiple teams that would benefit from having Drummond as their starting big man, with the former star player being that missing piece for a variety of different teams hoping to contend.
