NBA big-names most likely to be traded: J.J. Redick

Even though J.J. Redick might not be the player that he once was during the prime of his career, he’s still a valuable veteran that could bring depth and 3-point shooting to a contending team. It’s likely that whichever team ends up trading for Redick will use him sparingly and in a more reserved role.

I wouldn’t expect Redick to be playing a big role for any team deep in the playoffs. That said, that doesn’t mean any team that gets him wouldn’t be assisted. Redick, at 36 years old, is averaging eight points per game on 37 percent shooting from 3-point range with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Expect the usual suspects of contenders looking to improve around the edges of their rosters to be interested in Redick – Brooklyn both LA teams, and Philadelphia, to name a few. There’s a high chance Redick is moved at some point between now and the NBA Trade Deadline.
