Exploring five teams that desperately need to make a move at the NBA Trade Deadline.

Inching closer and closer to the NBA Trade Deadline, there are plenty of teams that are in need of some sort of shake-up heading into the second half of the season and a potential playoff push. Which five teams are in need of a big move the most? We explore, beginning with the defending Eastern Conference champions.

Teams that need to make a move at the NBA Trade Deadline: Miami Heat

It’s not surprising to see the Miami Heat on this list. Ever since the start of the season, this team doesn’t look anything like the team that made a run to the NBA Finals during the NBA is restart bubble. Jimmy Butler has been fantastic for this team since his return from health and safety protocol, and Bam Adebayo continues to improve and grow as a player, but there hasn’t been much more on a positive note to take away from the rest of the team this season.

Miami needs some sort of change in order to jumpstart this team and hopefully make a real push towards the playoffs. At the moment, no one would consider this team as a championship contender in the East.

Perhaps a big move at the NBA Trade Deadline is something that could change that narrative. A few names to keep an eye on when it comes to the Heat are Victor Oladipo and Andre Drummond, two names that have already been linked to the Heat over the past few weeks.

Question is, will any of these two players actually make a difference?
