NBA All-Star snubs: Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans

People were quick to give up on Brandon Ingram in LA, and it appears there are still tremors of doubt in his abilities even now. BI was named an All-Star last season and has since improved in every shooting category whilst maintaining relatively the same stats that got him to Chicago a year ago.

So why is this year any different? Two words: Zion Williamson. Zion has improved drastically since his rookie year the previous season, and with that comes a lot of newfound attracted attention, some of which is taken away from other teammates; in this case, Brandon Ingram.

Zion already had a copious amount of media and fan attention before he was even drafted first overall. It would appear the New Orleans Pelicans made a very stellar pick and he and Ingram work very well together on both sides of the court. Despite this, Zion was the one at center stage this year, leaving the reigning Most Improved Player to be last year’s big name.
